Virginia Uniform Chibi Test

Now that I'm starting to get the hang of properly inking and coloring in photoshop I wanted to go back and recolor Virginia. I've colored her before but it was really bad and the colors were too bright... I'm much happier with how she came out! She actually looks like how I envision her! *pats self on the back*

I drew her in a military uniform because Virginia is super hardcore when it comes to military stuff. Pretty much since forever Virginia has been a powerful and proud warrior. She's considered the most military friendly state in the Union and is home to the Pentagon as well as a lot of really prominent military academies. I always imagine Virginia carrying a sword when she's in battle gear, but I was struggling so much to get the uniform right and I'm not well versed enough in how it's supposed to be worn with all the badges and ceremonial sword. ;u; So... um... I just kind of did what I could. I might take creative license from here on out and just draw badges and stuff where I think it looks good regardless of how it's supposed to be.
